Gregory [Donovan Gwynfor} MORCOM (Greg)(13406)
Family Code: ILLOGANarthur CONSTANTINEjoseph

BIRTH:
in SA AUS. "Donovan Gwynfor" comes from a report on a criminal case which may not refer to this Gregor MORCOM, but note the "Gwyneth" in his possible grandmother's name

GENERAL NOTES:
NB The relationship between Gregory and this wife and two children is tentative and needs confirmation. Is this report in the Adelaide Advertiser of 12 Dec 2013 the same gregory MORCOM?"Lawyer Gregory Morcom stands trial on child pornography and firearms offencesAN Adelaide lawyer was found with an imitation Uzi machine gun and images of naked children inside his home, a court has heard. Gregory Donovan Gwynfor Morcom, 36, faced the District Court today. He pleaded not guilty to four aggravated counts of possessing child pornography, two basic counts of possessing child pornography and one count of possessing a firearm without a licence.Opening the trial, prosecutor Peter Longson said police attended Morcom's Pennington home late on October 21, 2011, to speak with him. Mr Longson said Morcom was not home and declined to return when asked by police. He said police stayed at Morcom's house until midnight and tried again to contact him."Whilst they (police) were there, they conducted a search of the property and they located, on the dining room floor in a laptop bag, an imitation Uzi machine gun and a magazine," he said. Mr Longson said two men had stolen several guns during an armed robbery at Impact Firearms, Prospect, seven months earlier. He said a man was arrested and pleaded guilty to the robbery. "The serial number of the Uzi located at the accused's house, on the dining room floor in the laptop bag, is the same serial number as the Uzi stolen in March ... from Impact Firearms," he said.Mr Longson said there was no suggestion Morcom was involved in the robbery. He said Morcom did not hold a firearms licence and police would say the Uzi was an imitation. "That doesn't mean it's some plastic toy gun that you get at the Royal Show or that you will give to a small child," he said. "It fires blank 9mm ammunition, it emits the same noise and smoke as live 9mm ammunition, it ejects shells as the rounds are fired and it's capable of giving the impression of a real firearm discharging ammunition." Mr Longson said police also found a large machete, flick knife, butterfly knife, a set of knuckledusters, an extendible baton and a set of nunchucks. He said during a cursory examination of Morcom's desktop computer, police discovered six images of naked children. Mr Longson said it would be alleged the images existed on the hard drive prior to police attending and that there were multiple copies of five of the six images. He said the four aggravated counts of possessing child pornography related to images alleged to be of a child under, or apparently under, the age of 14. Mr Longson said the two basic counts of possessing child pornography related to images alleged to be of a child under, or apparently under, the age of 16.The trial, before Judge Paul Rice and a jury, continues.
"Adelaide: Rights Lawyer Attacked by Murdoch Media, Police ProsectionPosted: 2013-12-14From: MathabaCommunity activist lawyer Greg Morcom attacked by police prosecution charges and hostile Murdoch media following landmark address calling for reform of justice system and police complaintsLess than two months after Adelaide lawyer Greg Morcom addressed the pre-launch of the Australian Alliance on October 20, Mr Morcom has been slandered in The Advertiser, the one and only newspaper in the capital city of South Australia, owned by the media corporation "News Corp" owned by Rupert Murdoch. The charges in question relate to a complaint dating back to October 21 2011, and are heavily disputed by Mr. Morcom. He pleaded not guilty to four aggravated counts of possessing child pornography, two basic counts of possessing child pornography and one count of possessing a firearm without a licence.6 pornographic images found on his computer were revealed to Mr Morcom only two days ago, and he was very disturbed but them, even though the prosecution believed they were of a very minor nature,. The images were found on one of his many office computers on an employee’s personal file.Despite being a well known criminal lawyer who donates much of his time to helping people in the community, Greg is appalled by the charges and indeed the accusation that he would have anything to do with such images. The prosecution themselves admit the files were uploaded some time in 2010 had never been accessed since.Mr Morcom has also been a constant headache to the establishment in South Australia in campaigning for the protection of children and the outing of abusers, while South Australia since the era of the homosexual Prime Minister Don Dunstan, has a notorious track record of homosexual abuse of minors including many murders and children who disappeared never to be found again. Many, including Morcom and associates of the Australian Alliance, believe these activities and murders which remain unresolved up to this day are the work of groups which manipulate politicians at the highest levels.Requests my Mr. Morcom for independent testing of the computer in question have also met with opposition by the prosecution. Although the South Australian Police (SAPOL) were informed of the identity of the employee involved, they have apparently chosen not to follow up. Observers note that this looks like the employee may have been a deliberate plant by those threatened by Morcom's calls for reformation of the justice system to download some images and save them onto the computer in 2010 so that SAPOL could have an excuse to arrest him in future."For the media to publish my photo in the public arena, with unproven allegations is unacceptable. This whole situation arose from an alleged illegal firearms breach which I also contest, on the day the police broke into my offices CCTV clearly shows a car arriving, entering my premises with a package and leaving without it only minutes before the police raid", Mr Morcom said.Mr. Morcoms DNA was not found on the replica firearm, although he has been made aware by the prosecution that the DNA of others was uncovered.Lawyers for Mr. Morcom subpoenaed DNA from the police commissioner who agreed to its supply, but the prosecution objected, and the judge ruled it inadmissible. "If the DNA does match this known offender, then it would be in the best interests of justice that such evidence be made available", the lawyer said. These issues follow a string of false charges laid in recent times said Mr. Morcom, a well known criminal lawyer, which appears more about the clients he has chosen to defend from the impoverished class and also his history of citizen rights activism as well as his profound grasp of all that is wrong with the current "justice system" in South Australia."
"My job is to represent my clients without fear of favour, and if the prosecution have an issue with that, deal with it, but to try and destroy my career based on my success is unacceptable", Mr Morcom said."I have been a strong voice for reforms to our legal system in recent times, to bring affordable justice back to the system; I sincerely hope these charges are not a result of that criticism", he added.A Google check up to 30 January 2014 did not reveal any further reports on this case.
